The offered Calcium Oxide is made available by us for use in the various commercial and industrial applications. It is a white, caustic, alkaline, crystalline solid at room temperature. The broadly used term lime connotes calcium-containing inorganic materials, in which carbonates, oxides and hydroxides of calcium, silicon, magnesium, aluminium, and iron predominate. When mixed, calcium oxide and water react together highly exothermically to form calcium hydroxide. If water is dripped slowly onto a lump of calcium oxide, a hissing is heard as excess water is turned to steam by the heat produced in the reaction. The offered Calcium Oxide is very effective.
